In the studio
Every portrait starts with a blank panel, a reference and an idea of what makes the subject interesting.
I work in oils, building each painting slowly by hand — looking for expression, character and the small details that make a portrait feel alive.
Some paintings are personal work, others are commissions. People, pets, musicians or something completely different — the subject changes, but the aim stays the same: to make something with personality that deserves to live on a wall.
